My Dirty Chai Coffee Recipe combines freshly ground Chai Tea spices with brewed coffee to make one of the most aromatic and flavorful cups of Joe!Â
Is there anything better than the smell of freshly ground coffee beans? Right?! Ridiculous.
There is a reason coffee is so popular. I’m arguing that freshly ground coffee beans with a blend of Chai Tea spices might top regular old coffee beans in terms or aroma.
OK, so here is the deal. If you drink coffee (which I know most of you do), you NEED to make this Dirty Chai Coffee. Most Dirty Chai recipes out there are for Latte’s and I know that not everyone has an espresso machine.
So, we basically take some fresh spices and grind them with the coffee beans in the coffee grinder and we wind up with the most fragrant, delicious tasting coffee. It almost tastes like a dessert and forget about how amazing it makes the house smell when brewing!
I recommend adding a touch of your favorite sweetener (stevia or monkfruit to keep it sugar free / low carb, coconut palm sugar, organic sugar, agave, honey, even maple syrup will work.) Then top it off with some non-dairy milk or half and half and you are going to feel transported!

Never even thought of combining chai and coffee. Interesting idea — sounds really good. I usually use a French Press when I make coffee (which yields a rather “dirty” cup of coffee to begin with), so it’d be easy to adapt this recipe to my method. Thanks!
EverydayMaven says
This actually works really well in a French Press or Pour Over!

Hi this sounds yummy!! Perfect for Fall now that it has FINALLY arrived <3 How would you modify this recipe for a 4-cup coffee maker? That is all I have at the moment and I don't want to waste any of these spices making coffee too strong or too weak. Thanks 🙂
EverydayMaven says
Hi Stephanie!
If you want it strong, halve it, otherwise, I would do 1/3 of the spices! Hope it works out 🙂
