This Old Bay Seafood Salad is so versatile! Serve as a party dip or a lettuce wrap, sandwich or part of a salad. Gluten Free! Made in partnership with TransOcean using Simply Surimi.
Let’s talk about this Old Bay Seafood Salad. First of all, we all know that everything in life is better with Old Bay so let’s just acknowledge that. Second, this is freaking delish. It’s gluten free, low carb and makes the perfect lunch or light dinner.
To celebrate National Seafood Month, I partnered with Simply Surimi to bring you this fabulous recipe and tell you more about their new product. Let’s dive in because I am super excited about this!
Most Surimi on the market is full of chemicals, food coloring, gluten, additives and flavor enhancers likes MSG. No bueno and one of the reasons why I usually order my California Rolls with King Crab as a substitution (which my wallet hates!).
TransOcean developed Simply Surimi as a premium Surimi product and not only is it made from REAL Alaska Pollock fish. It is certified GMO, gluten and fat free, no artificial flavors or colors and has NO phosphates added to it. It is also certified sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council. And, most importantly, it tastes really good and is reasonably priced!
I’ve been playing around with both the sticks and flakes and really excited about the product. This Old Bay Seafood Salad features the Simply Surimi flakes and uses my 2-minute homemade mayonnaise recipe, fresh dill, celery and just enough Old Bay to make it taste spectacular.
You can serve as a dip with crackers or as lettuce wraps, stuffed into half of an avocado, on your favorite sandwich bread or wraps or even atop a salad. Either way, you are going to love it!
