This 3-ingredient Skinny Margarita is the easy low carb margarita of your dreams! Perfect for a single serving or for a crowd and totally sugar-free!
Last night I mixed this store-bought limeade (that is organic, all-natural and 0 calories, 0 carbs and 0 sugars – what!?) with some good Tequila, a ton of ice and a squeeze of fresh lime. When I took the first sip, I was like, “Whoa! This tastes more like a margarita than any of the low carb versions I’ve tried!”
So, I immediately shared about it on Instagram and Facebook because I clearly couldn’t keep it to myself.
I figured that would be it but I got so many messages and comments about this easy little Low Carb Margarita that I promptly asked my husband to run to Whole Foods (on Super Bowl Sunday no less) and pick me up some more of the Limeade so I could make more, take some photos and share it with you today.
This is super freaking good. It’s ridiculous. And easy. And will quickly become your go-to low carb margarita. The only catch is – you need to find this Bragg’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar Limeade drink.
I know, I know. It’s probably not available everywhere and as an FYI, here in Seattle, I buy it at either Whole Foods Market or PCC Natural Market.
The good news is you can totally order some online or take a close look at the label and play with the ratios until you recreate your own.
There is something perfect about the combo that tastes like a damn good margarita. Just the right mix of sour (from lime and apple cider vinegar) and a touch of sweet (from stevia).

I just made this and am very impressed, it’s delicious! I’ll be submitting in the next margarita wars I have with friends!
EverydayMaven says
Hey Heather! Yay – I love it. Now that warm weather is coming – I need to order a case (or more) of the Bragg’s to be stocked up and ready. Hope your friends love this drink too 🙂

This cocktail is quite literally a game changer. Like you said it tastes like a damn good margarita – not fake or “diety” just damn good. I have tried other Skinny margaritas you can buy, but am not a fan of the chemicals used – not only is this margarita chemical free – it takes far better. I sprinkled a touch of kosher salt on top as well and it was delish. I think I need to have LuckyVitamin auto-ship me cases of Limeade all spring/summer long. Thank you, thank you for this wonderful recipe!!!
EverydayMaven says
Hi Terri! Thank you so much for the feedback! I am going to add your comment to my testimonials 🙂 Cheers!!
Jackie says
The WF I go to in Ann Arbor does not carry the limeade flavor of Braggs, and it is $9 a bottle on Amazon!!!
EverydayMaven says
Ugh Jackie! 🙁 I would ask them to carry it. They are usually great about that. $9 is insane.
Cara Baker says
I just found it online for $2.53 at

So not a huge fan of the limeade. Does the tequila help? I know, tequila helps everything but I mean the tartness lol
EverydayMaven says
Hey Charlene! It’s supposed to be tart with just a little sweetness! Tequila does help 😉 but you could also try adding just a smidge more stevia?

Just what I’ve been looking for! Thank you for sharing this little “treasure” of a recipe! I wish bartenders stocked Bragg’s limeade. ?
EverydayMaven says
You are welcome Cathy!! It is my favorite cocktail right now. I also wish that bartenders stocked Bragg’s — maybe we should start traveling with a bottle or two in our bags 😉
June says

Laura says
I for one, am disappointed because I though my I was the one to discover this amazing product!! I personally love it alone or mixed with tequila. I drink a lot of Kombucha tho and can see why some can’t get past the vinegar. A couple of thoughts: Either dilute with a bit of Fresca (which tastes a bit like margarita to begin with and has no calories) or if you like spice as we do here in Houston, soak a fresh jalapeño slice in the drink and sprinkle with a bit of salt. It will mask the vinegar taste in the drink and give it a zing.
EverydayMaven says
Ha! I hear you Laura – it’s so good. Those are great tips!

I was just at WF today, saw Bragg’s while looking for a sparkling water, thought, “What on earth?”, then came home, googled a recipe for slow cooker sausage and peppers, found your site (am currently cooking your fabulous smelling sausage, onions and peppers recipe), and see this recipe using the Bragg’s It’s like a word you just learned showing up repeatedly. Kismet? Serendipity? I will certainly be returning to your site frequently.
