The Skinniest Skinny Margarita from www.EverydayMaven.com

The Skinniest of all Skinny Margaritas. Totally free of sugar, low carb and mixed together in just a couple minutes!

The Skinniest Skinny Margarita from www.EverydayMaven.com

Last night I mixed this store-bought limeade (that is organic, all natural and 0 calories, 0 carbs and 0 sugars – what!?) with some good Tequila, a ton of ice and a squeeze of fresh lime. When I took the first sip, I was like, “Whoa! This tastes more like a margarita than any of the low cal versions I’ve tried!”

So, I immediately shared about it on Instagram and Facebook because I clearly couldn’t keep it to myself.

I figured that would be it but I got so many messages and comments about this easy little Low Carb and Sugar Free Super Skinny Margarita that I promptly asked my husband to run to Whole Foods (on Super Bowl Sunday no less) and pick me up some more of the Limeade so I could make more, take some photos and share it with you today.

The Skinniest Skinny Margarita from www.EverydayMaven.com

This is super freaking good. It’s ridiculous. And easy. And will quickly become your go-to margarita. The only catch is – you need to find this Bragg’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar Limeade drink.

I know, I know. It’s probably not available everywhere and as an FYI, here in Seattle, I buy it at either Whole Foods Market or PCC Natural Market.

The good news is you can totally order some online or take a close look at the label and play with the ratios until you recreate your own.

There is something perfect about the combo that tastes like a damn good margarita. Just the right mix of sour (from lime and apple cider vinegar) and a touch of sweet (from stevia).

Come back and tell me what you think when you make it! Or tag me on Instagram #everydaymaven so I can see yours!

How did you know that ACV was gonna do that? Just happened across this on Pinterest and figured I’d give it a try. I love a good, strong Margarita so I thought the 8-to-1 ACV Limeade to tequila wasn’t gonna work for me. But I took Kristen’s advice on making the limeade with what I had: ACV, Monkfruit sweetener, and fresh limes then my tequila pour. It was awesome almost creamy but also crisp; unlike the taste you get from pre-made mixes. I drank it so fast trying to get my brain to understand how ACV could become this wonderful elixir from the gods. So of course, I had to make another. Thanks for sharing!

The ACV taste was a bit much for me but I added an oz of elderflower liquor and it tamed the overwhelming taste. While I didn’t find this to be a “knock your socks off” it’s a good low cal option.

I was so excited when I read this recipe and even more excited when I found the limeade at my local grocer. I am a fan of Bragg’s ACV but unfortunately this recipe was not a winner in my opinion. The ACV smell and taste were overwhelming and I couldn’t get passed it. The search continues…

I just made a batch of homemade limeade using 10 limes, 1/4 cup of stevia and 1/4 cup of ACV, and 1 cup of distilled water. When mixing add 2 oz limeade mix, 1 oz tequila and about 3 oz of Lime Perrier. This is definitely a game changer! Skinny Rita’s all around for Fathers Day!!

Would this kill your gut if you drank several? I don’t drink very often, but when I do, I usually have several. I’m hopeful we’ll have a summer here in Wisconsin even though ice crystals are currently hitting my window in the middle of April. I love margaritas in the summer, but I’m also doing keto way of eating now.

I tried yesterday using exact same ingredients listed on Braggs’ Limeade bottle. I used
a little too much apple cider vinegar and needed a lot more stevia than I thought
but it is mostly water so making a smaller portion to begin tasting …
I would start with 5/2/1 – water, lime juice, ACV and add stevia to taste. If you like
a little carbonation, I added a splash of Lemon-Lime Zevia soda (in San Diego it’s
available at Sprouts) to my second margarita and it was very good but then again
it WAS my second marg ….

This cocktail is quite literally a game changer. Like you said it tastes like a damn good margarita – not fake or “diety” just damn good. I have tried other Skinny margaritas you can buy, but am not a fan of the chemicals used – not only is this margarita chemical free – it takes far better. I sprinkled a touch of kosher salt on top as well and it was delish. I think I need to have LuckyVitamin auto-ship me cases of Limeade all spring/summer long. Thank you, thank you for this wonderful recipe!!!

I for one, am disappointed because I though my I was the one to discover this amazing product!! I personally love it alone or mixed with tequila. I drink a lot of Kombucha tho and can see why some can’t get past the vinegar. A couple of thoughts: Either dilute with a bit of Fresca (which tastes a bit like margarita to begin with and has no calories) or if you like spice as we do here in Houston, soak a fresh jalapeño slice in the drink and sprinkle with a bit of salt. It will mask the vinegar taste in the drink and give it a zing.
