Four Easy Infused Water Recipes to help you drink more water and stay hydrated! These are perfect for parties, holidays, or just every day. Each recipe can be made in minutes!
Do you naturally drink a lot of water or do you need to work at it?
Me, I am a big water drinker year-round but truth be told, I tend to drink a lot less water in the winter as I crave warm drinks, bigger flavors, and lots of soup!
One of the way that I combat this and stay on track with my hydration goals all winter is to infuse my water with various combinations of fruits, veggies and herbs. Not only does it taste incredible but the waters are beautiful to look at and make the most stunning additions to dinner parties and holiday parties.
I get a lot of emails from you guys asking how to drink more water so I created these four infused water recipes for you.
Note, these recipes are *NOT* just for the Winter. That’s just my deal! Make these anytime you feel like you need a boost to stay hydrated OR want to infuse some interesting flavors and colors to your water!
How long can you keep infused water in the fridge?
I suggest using the infused water within 24 hours. As the fruit, herbs, and/or veggies begin to break down, they can change the taste of the water and also make it cloudy.
Do you need to strain infused water before serving?
Nope! You can eat the fruit and veggies if you want but leave the herbs to the side. If you are concerned about presentation, use a pitcher or vessel with a strainer or slim spout so that you avoid pouring anything into the glass except for the infused water. You can then add a piece of fresh fruit, cucumber, or herb to jazz up the serving glass.
Infused Water tips:
- Feel free to double, triple or quadruple any recipe for a party or large group.
- For presentation, I like to add additional fruit, herbs, veggies, etc. to make the jars look abundant!
