Clean Beauty gift ideas for Mother’s Day! Stick with reliable non-toxic products to pamper all the Mom’s in your life!
Mother’s Day is about 1.5 weeks away and if you haven’t thought about it yet, you need to get on those gifts! I’m not exactly a new Mom anymore but as the Mom of a 7-year old and 2-year old, I feel like I’ve got some experience under my belt about what will make almost any Mom happy. Ready for it?
Clean. Quiet. Adventure. Pampering.
Yep, some of the stereotypes are true. Most Moms I know really do want someone else to clean (and keep clean!) their house, they want a little bit of peace and quiet, some adventure and to indulge in taking care of themselves. These are all winning ideas. Trust me on this.
And, to my husband, if you are reading this. I’ll take all of the above and a lovely dinner thankyouverymuch.
I can’t really help you all with the cleaning, peace & quiet and adventure part but I have some suggestions when it comes to pampering and non-toxic beauty!

This is one of the very first products (next to the masks!) that made me a convert and fall in love with Beautycounter. This body wash smells so good and it gets so foamy – you only need a little bit. That also means that it lasts a really long time! Pair this with a shower sponge from the drugstore and you have a fantastic and inexpensive Mother’s Day gift!
Good quality non-toxic nail polishes are hard to come by. I recently purchased some from 100% Pure and have been really happy with them so far. I especially love their base and top coat. The polish chips in a few days but that is pretty standard for any more natural nail polish that I have found. One of the reasons it’s great to have the color so you can do your own touch-ups! This set is on sale for Mother’s Day and is regularly $36.

This is a fabulous and indulgent body scrub. The only downside is that Lemongrass is the only scent available. I personally love lemongrass but I know it’s not everyone’s jam. If you don’t think your Mom would dig the lemongrass, keep reading for another option from a different company.
OK, so if you think Lemongrass won’t do it, I would go with 100% Pure body scrubs. There are 8 different options from Honey Almond to Eucalyptus to Lavender. I’ve personally used the Honey Almond before and I currently have the Eucalyptus and it’s really fragrant and leaves my skin smooth!

Oh man. How much I freaking LOVE this product. First of all, let’s address the fact that Yes, it is $$$. But, it lasts forever and that makes it a great gift because let’s keep it real – a lot of Mom’s don’t buy themselves super expensive products but really want them. I use a teeny-tiny bit every night to cleanse my face with the cleansing cloth that comes with it. If my skin is feeling particularly dry, I rub a little more in as a night mask. It’s worth every single penny!
The Beautycounter Spa Sets are mini versions of the collections which each contain a facial mask, beauty oil and spray mist. They are a great gift and a nice way to introduce the collections. Each item is about half the size of the full size collection item. There are three options: No. 1 Brightening, No. 2 Plumping and No.3 Balancing. Scroll down to the “$150 and up” category to see more detailed descriptions.
This is such an adorable Mother’s Day gift set! It’s a Limited Edition and includes a White 8.5 x 3.5 x 5.4 Cosmetics Bag, Powder Blush Duo in Bloom/Tulip, Sheer Lipstick in Rose and the No. 2 Plumping Mist (a spray used to prep skin, set makeup and refresh day and night).

Each collection contains a full size facial mask, facial oil, and facial mist. These are some of the most popular Beautycounter products and for good reason! See below for descriptions or message me if you need more assistance choosing a collection based on skin type and needs!
This is the big WOW gift if you can swing it! As a general rule, the Beautycounter Rejuvenating Collection is for aging, stressed and more fragile skin aka MOMS. Lol. But seriously though? I barely had to wash my face before I had kids and my skin was always glowing. Two boys later and I use almost every item from the Rejuvenating line.
ORDER BY INFO TO GET YOUR GIFTS ON TIME!
Specific to Beautycounter, make sure to place your Mother’s Day gift orders by this Friday May 5th at 10:00 AM PST to get them in time via ground shipping (the cheapest option).
Orders placed via Priority Mail by 10:00 AM PST on May 9th should arrive on time and finally orders placed via Expedited Mail by 10:00 AM PST on May 10th should also arrive on time. BUT – don’t wait on this. There is pretty much nothing worse than looking like a schmuck on Mother’s Day because you ordered your gift too late and it’s not there yet.
If you can’t pull together an internet order in time, I suggest a plant (not flowers that just die!), a gift certificate to her favorite manicure / pedicure salon and if she boozes, her favorite wine!
Happy Mother’s Day and if you have specific product questions, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
